By Train
For those wishing to use public transport, Swiss Railways (SBB) operate a service direct from Geneva Airport to Leuk with a connecting bus link to Leukerbad.
Tickets can be purchased in advance on-line or you might like to consider buying one of the many Swiss Travel Passes that are available for sale. Details can be found at www.sbb.ch.
It is possible to travel from the UK by train using the Eurostar which leaves St Pancras International (London) in the morning, change at Paris and take the train to Lausanne, Switzerland. Change here for Leuk where the connecting bus takes you to Leukerbad, arriving early evening the same day.
By Car
A number of car hire companies operate out of Geneva Airport. Total journey time is approximately 2 hours 15 minutes. If you are using your own transport, you must ensure that you obtain a motorway permit sticker in order to travel on the Swiss motorways, which is available from border crossing points/petrol stations/post office branches.
