Thermal Baths
For 365 days a year, one of the main attractions for visitors to Leukerbad is the local thermal waters. There is an enormous range of wellness facilities from jacuzzis, saunas, steam baths, whirlpools and jets, to highlights such as enjoying Champagne breakfast in the thermal water, bathing at full moon and aqua fit exercises. In total, Leukerbad offers a choice of 30 thermal pools, four of which are accessible to the public, and with an impressive 3.9 million litres a day, has the most voluminous reserves of thermal water in the whole of Europe. The two most popular thermal baths are the Leukerbad Therme and Lindner Alpentherme.
Leukerbad Therme
The Leukerbad Therme offers 10 thermal baths with temperatures ranging from 28C to 43C as well as a range of spa treatments. The 25m sports pool, a children's play pool and Switzerland's first Xtube tyre slide with banked corners provide ideal surroundings for thrill seeking and active sports enthusiasts. Great fun for the family.

Lindner Alpentherme
The Lindner Alpentherme is Europe's largest high-altitude Alpine wellness, beauty and thermal spa. It offers indoor and outdoor thermal pools equipped with bubble couches, neck showers and massage and aero-hydro jets. There are also luxurious sauna facilities modelled on a picturesque Valaisian mountain village, which include a steam bath, Finnish sauna, and herbal sanarium. For the less self conscious, you can experience nude bathing in the Roman-Irish bath, combing two traditional European bathing cultures to create a relaxing ritual with the aim of purifying the body and improving circulation, in the setting of a Roman villa. A range of indulgent spa treatments and experiences are available, so why not treat yourself!
